The Knanaya Catholic Youth League of North America, also known as KCYLNA, was formed in 1994 and is a suborganization of the Knanaya Catholic Congress of North America (KCCNA). KCYLNA is the federation of all official local KCYL units. Each KCYLNA Board is made up of 10 officers and serves for 2 years. The current board led by President Reshma Karakkattil was sworn into office on January 28, 2023.

Our Aims and Objectives:

  1. To organize gatherings of Knanaya Catholic Youth in North America as to foster social connections and encourage spiritual life in ordinance with Knanaya traditions
  2. To maintain unity of all member KCYL Units
  3. To maintain good communication among the members of KCYL units and with members of other units all over the world
  4. To encourage the organization and active participation of local KCYL units wherever needed

Membership Criteria:

  1. Age Requirement: minimum 9th grade and maximum 25 years of age
  2. Unmarried
  3. Born of both Knanaya parents who practice the Catholic faith
